12U ThunderCats Win Championship in Davis Debut

Behind solid pitching and TREMENDOUS defense, the 12U Rocklin ThunderCats earned their first championship at the Davis Tournament this past weekend. After finishing 2-1 in pool play on Saturday, the T'Cats squeezed out a 5-4 victory over Pleasant Hill in the semi-finals (8 innings; international tie-breaker) and then defeated a strong Petaluma team (avenging their only loss on Saturday) 6-5 in Sunday's championship game.

GREAT JOB, T'Cats. Keep up the hard work. And good luck at the "Stars of Cordova" tournament this weekend!
